In order to reduce wastage and optimise the usage of their assets, an innovative solution had to be found. Corrosion on rail baseplates typically occurs in areas where there is water ponding.

After having done some thorough testing and trials with different coating products, SBS TRANSIT decided to use the ZINGA solution to rehabilitate corroded baseplates and eliminate the need to discard useful assets.
