UNACEM (Unión Andina de Cementos) is a manufacturer of cement, clinker, and pre-mixed concrete. This company was created in 2012 by the merger of Cementos Lima S.A.A. and Cemento Andino S.A. to create Peru’s largest cement producer. UNACEM owns 2 plants located in Lima and Junín, whose capacity is 6.7 million tons of clinker and 7.6 million tons of cement. This is the loading hopper in the Port of Lima where cement is loaded into bulk carriers. In January 2021, and thanks to the technical advice & support of ZINGAPERU, UNACEM decided to strip off the old worn paint system and replace it with
ZINGA as a stand-alone system.
