TULUM Airport signposts Yucatán, Mexico
The TULUM Airport, located in the Yucatán Province of Mexico, is functioning as a secondary gateway for tourists visiting the Mexican Caribbean, the Riviera Maya, and the Yucatán Peninsula. It is located approximately 6km – 3.75 miles from the seaside.
SEDENA (Mexican Secretariat of National Defense), who operates this airport, urgently wanted to durably protect new sign posts along the road leading to the TULUM Airport.
They specified hot dip galvanising and required a maintenance free system of 10 years. But due to too long lead times and supply delays, they decided to coat these sign post with a ZINGALU stand-alone system.
The works were done between January and March 2024 by ZINGA Mexico – Grupo VYSISA.
